Very sorry to hear of desmonds passing.we spent many great times in the post office club in tallaght and also the odd game game of golf in beech park.

So sorry to hear of Des ,Hiney's passing .Des was a friend to many but special to a few. I was lucky to become a friend of his towards latter years of his life . I like many more always enjoyed His company and humour. He was a unique Man who always had a good word for everyone. Des will be sadly missed by his many friends through-out Ireland.. Mary and I, plus all of us here in California, are deeply saddened by the death of Desi. It came as quite a shock, as we thought he was on the road to recovery. I played several rounds of golf with Desi, and you couldn't ask for a better brother in law. Our hearts go out to Theresa and the Hiney family. May his soul rest in peace.
