Sincere condolences. Lovely memories of rehearsing with Des when he took 8 of us from the folk group in Ballyboden to sing carols on John O’Donoghue’s programme in RTE around Christmas 1981. He was a lovely gentleman. Rest In peace.

Una, Barbara and Audrey organised the most beautiful send-off for husband & father Desmond on Friday 13th January 2023 - a very emotional service with incredible music and a soloist that Des would have been overjoyed to hear. A richly moving, serene and uplifting mass for someone who deserved the best farewell. I will miss you, Des, please rest in peace. Love Tony
