Desmond (Des) HOWE

I would have known Des in his RSA days. Many a good evening was spent at the SIMI dinners in the Burlington as it was then. He was a lovely man with a beautiful smile.

Sincere sympathy to Theresa and children and grandchildren. Farringtons and ourselves grew up together in Hollywood. I remember the big chats Theresa and Mena and myself used to have outside our house after coming home from school (Theresa and Mena from Dunlavin, myself from Blessington) all those years ago. So sad to hear of Des’s passing. We worked together in Claims Dept for many years, Des will always be held in great affection by anyone who met him - a gentle witty and kind man. May he rest in peace.
