Dessie Hand

Sending our love from Scotland to Mona , Shane, Susan and Michael . We had many a great time with Dessie . I’ll never forget the laughs we shared and the songs he sang . God didn’t make little green apples ! He will be serenading them in heaven .

The departure of Dessie Hand from this life leaves a void that can, nor ever, will be filled. He was universally loved and liked far and wide by everyone in every sphere of his life. His personality was infectious and every gathering, party or meeting was always enriched by his presence. And yes, his discretionary support could indeed be counted on when it was needed. We were the recipients of all of these wonderful human attributes Dessie possessed during our long friendship with Dessie and his beloved wife Mona.
