So unfortunate that we never met you Diane, but our finding each other and family was a great moment. I remember so well those early morning calls from you as I was going to work in New Zealand and you were having your evening meal. It took you a couple of calls to realise we weren't in the same time zone which we both laughed at.

The few talks we had will remain with me and whilst you are above us all now, with other members of your family, you or they are never forgotten. What good times you will all be having.

I spoke with Diane a time or two when she called my kids in Canada.

She was a lovely woman and her memory is a blessing.

Diane although we never met in person we had many chats over the phone and we bonded just like family should, whether close or distant. Thank-You for searching and connecting with me and the rest of the family here in Canada. I will never forget get you and I shall always treasure the years that we did have together and please give my Dad Tony, my Mom Alice, and Grandparents Florence & George Bastable along with our other ancestors my love!!!
