We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Diarmuid. He was a unique, talented and kind person who always reached out to people over an extended period from his days in the Hollybrook Hotel as MC for Cluain Tarbh CCÉ to his sustained interest in his community in Howth. His passion for all aspects of Irish culture in particular, for our native language was infectious and all embracing. Diarmuid’s range of interests from local history, collecting books, music and songs knew no bounds.
