Dear Pat and Michael, I was blessed to work a while with Donal in the L’Arche Community. He was a credit to ye. Such a kind and pleasant man, with a great sense of humour. It was obvious that he came from a loving home.
I’m so sorry for your grief.
But take consolation that he had a good life and is having an even better one in heaven . I can almost hear his mischievous chuckle*.

I grew up with Donal. He was my friend. He was older than me but he was always kind towards me. Donal had incredible physical strength. I was fortunate to be able to communicate with Donal. He was a good soul. I'm saddened to hear of his passing, may he rest in peace.
