I am very saddened to hear of the passing of the great man that was Don Costello. Don was great to the youth that walked in the gates of Erin's Isle back in the day! He was just brilliant at making sure every child was made feel 1st best and they were made feel a part of the club and gave hours of his time unconditionally to many a team. If you met Don on the street in later life and no matter what form you were in, you always left the conversation feeling in better humour than to start with. The man had a treasure throve of old team photos that he took and developed and would show you the great memories years later. I was privileged to know Don and I will hold him in the higest regard always.
