A mighty oak has fallen - but his memory will remain through the acorns he has sown . His inate kindness, decency and integrity made up for any foibles of human nature and will be a testament to a much travelled soul. Don loved his boys Gavin and Jeremy and their spouses Theresa and Sarah and grandchildren very dearly and will be sorely missed by their Mum ,his brothers and families. A thoughtful mischievous smile would herald a discussion of philosophy- travel-politics and just general banter and was as entertaining as any of his native countrymen. All Don’s questions will have been answered now and I know the Good Lord will show mercy on his noble soul especially in this holiest of weeks when the floodgates of Divine Mercy are opened wide. Home safely big man.
