Donal (Donie) O'Donovan

We learned of Donals death with some delay and are very sad. Our thoughts are with the family. Donie was an intelligent conversationalist, his sense of humor impressive. May he rest in peace!

Life took on a special dimension when meeting up with Donie and experience his sense of Family, Parish and Friendship, if Donie and his late Friend Sean Hennesy happened to be together then the encounter was really special.Both these men knew my father Peadar as their metalwork teacher and Friend, that Friendship they shared with me after my Father's passing in '75 is a treasured part of my very being. Donie and Sean Thank you for your Friendship and may you rest peacefully 'neath the soft soil of Moyross and the wafting breeze from the Great Atlantic caress your garden over the Horizon.
