A true gentleman. I met Donal on a CRC Lofeskills Course I was facilitating in 1986 ....in the CRC. Donal was so impressive ..... so full of promise. So bright!! And what a beautiful speaking voice. I'm so Lucky to have met him. A true gent!

Donal's had great warmth and a gift for friendship; I will miss him and his incisive and good humoured conversation. He had great courage and heart. I am very sad at this early loss.

Ireland and the world have lost a wonderful advocate, a shining light and a beautiful person. Sincerest condolences to Donal's family and many, many friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Thinking very specially of Donal and his range of abilities and the inspiration he gave to so many other people. A life cut short but here's that others are fuelled by his enthusiasm and energy to continue to fight until it is no longer needed. Condolences to family and friends. Donal was a terrific spirit possessed of a major zest for life. Very missed of course, but super glad to have spent time in his unique company. His life made other peoples lives different.
