I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your mam, Doreen was a wonderful lady that I had nothing be love and respect for. Doreen was my supervisor for many years in marks and she was a hard boss but the best. Doreen always looked out for me that I will never forget ❤️Thinking of you all xx

Siobhan and Alison , I am so sorry to hear about you Mam’s passing. Doreen was a great support and true friend to me during my time in Mandate Trade Union. As far as the members of the Union were concerned she gave freely of her time , but more importantly she really cared and believed they deserved the best representation she could give. I am so sorry to hear of your Mum's sudden passing. She was such a lovely lady and neighbour. She made a hugh effort to attend my own Dad's funeral only a few weeks ago. Unfortunately another long time neighbour gone from the road.

It is with the fondness of memories and the deepest gratitude that we remember at this time the invaluable contribution made by Doreen towards the betterment in the working lives of her fellow union members and retail workers generally as she performed many senior activist roles within the union including the highest attainable that of General President. May she rest in peace.
