To Ian and family, many happy memories of your mum. Firstly as a child playing under the monkey puzzle tree and having lovely cake in your kitchen. Then I had Mrs Lazenby as my GFS leader. She was always kind and encouraging and treated us like grown ups, not kids. It was a privilege to have known her.

Dorothea was a much loved and dedicated member of our Show, she gave many years of excellent service to so many local shows and to the Irish Shows Association. May she rest in eternal peace.

We knew Dorothea since the 1980's though the Agricultural Shows and the Board of ISA. we joined her when, as President, she successfully lobbied for funding from the Department of Agriculture to reduce the cost of staging shows.
