Dr. Edward Grant

My sincere condolences on the passing of Dr Grant. He was my own GP growing up in Waterford and was Unit Medical Officer for the Waterford Unit of the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps when I joined as a cadet in the 1980s.
I succeeded Dr Eddie as Unit Medical Officer for the Order of Malta in Waterford in the late 90s after I qualified when he joked with me that 'there was only room for one captain on the ship !'.
He was indeed a true gentleman and a very kind Doctor and is remembered fondly .
May he rest in peace

Ed was a gentleman and one of my favorite cousins-in-law of my Irish family. Always kind and gentle. I wish had had more time to share with him in the past. He will surely be welcomed in Heaven!
