Dr. Kevin McDonagh

Deepest sympathy to Aisling and family. Kevin was my mum's doctor, and he would call to see her at the house when she wasn't well, as she was housebound. A lovely man, I will never forget his kindness to my mum. May he rest in peace.

Dear Aisling, Brendan, Catherine, and Claire. We were deeply saddened and heartbroken to receive the sad news of Kevin’s passing. We send our sincere condolences. We have several fond memories over the years.

Sheila knew Kevin through Aisling in their work together in the HSE. Barry and Kevin were students at UCG and worked together as junior doctors at Portiuncula Hospital. Working with Kevin was always a pleasure; he was a great, earnest, diligent teammate. As a friend, those same qualities shone through. His patients, colleagues, friends and especially his family, whom he cherished so much, will sadly miss him.

Since moving to Australia, we have kept in touch. On a recent trip back to Ireland, we had a beautiful evening together on a sunny Galway day just a couple of weeks before Kevin’s passing. Well done, Brendan, you made a beautiful speech at your father’s funeral. May Kevin’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
