Our Sympathy to the McCann family on the passing of Dr. McCann, she was our family GP and a bit of a legend when I was a child, I remember her coming to see my Dad at home so many times when he was ill, in her little brown VW wearing her fur coat and with the stetescope slung around her neck, she would sit up on the bed and chat away to him, she was always so lively and kind and reassuring, we all trusted her opinion and she never put us wrong. May she rest in peace now.

My sympathies to you, Giolla, and all the McCann family on the loss of your mother. She was never far from your sight; now she is gone to the God she loved, and your Dad, she is but a breath away. The light of heaven to her!
In her long and joyous life she has touched and healed so many, who will always remember her with respect and affection. Now she is near to God, she will not forget those for whom she was always concerned and loved. She will forever remember us; we cannot forget her!
Unfortunately, due to illness, I could not attend her funeral. However, I assure you I have offered Mass (to which she was so committed) for her and for all of you in your grief.
