Dear Family and friends,

Orla was a classmate of mine in medical school. She was kind generous and welcoming of a newcomer to the area. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I remember her fondly and I know she made a difference to colleges patients and friends alike. My condolences to all who are grieving for this great loss.

Deepest sympathies on the tragic passing of your beautiful Orla. It was my pleasure to work with her while she was a Paediatric Registrar in SUH. She was a brilliant doctor, great mind, so quick, so good with the babies, children and families, worked so well with the MDT, she was a team player but made clear decisions. I remember her telling me she had to switch to the GP training scheme due to her health. She just loved Paediatrics but also knew she could bring that wealth of knowledge to her role as a GP.
I'm so sorry to hear of your passing Orla. You are and will always be sorely missed. It was an honour to know you.
