I am so sorry to hear of Dr Glaser's passing. We exchanged Christmas cards for over 30 years after I had left his employ to return to my home country. I feel privileged to have known and worked for him. My sincerest regards to Pat and family.

My condolences to the extended family on the passing of Dr. Glaser, a truly wonderful man and of course one of the giants of the telecommunications sector in the second half of the 20th century. He was my valued mentor during one of those decades. I learned much from his amazing business mind and I've so many great and often amusing stories in my head from working and traveling abroad together. As many will agree Dr. Glaser could be very strong minded and decisive and yet his touching humanity was always there to see. For example I'll never forget him turning back at a railway station in Germany to help an elderly lady carry her case all the way up a long flight of steps. RIP to a really great man whose positive influence on my life I will always cherish.
