Sincere sympathy to The O’Dwyer Family on the death of your loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
Dr Pat was a unique person who along with his wife June and family contributed immensely to the life of our community. Dr O’Dwyer worked tirelessly as a GP who valued all his patients with the same level of respect and dignity but not alone that, he was interested enough to research our local history and to realise the importance of our educational heritage. He taught us about our local education hero, Bishop Daniel Delany from Paddock who founded The Brigidine and The Patrician Orders. He made sure that Mountrath would retain a centre of educational excellence which thankfully, he lived to see in the form of Mountrath Community College. May he along with his beloved wife enjoy their heavenly reward for all their goodness.
