I have no words to ease the pain for Mike Etain Tom and Maeve on Sarahs passing. One of my last memories was telling a story in Berlin Airport which she laughed at with great gusto. I was very sad to hear of Dr. Roger's sudden passing. I was a patient of hers in Hume Street and in her consulting rooms for many years. It's not often that one looks forward to a medical appointment but as well as being a caring and attentive doctor, Sarah was such great fun and we had lovely chats. It was noticeable that in any interaction with more junior staff, she was always extremely supportive and appreciative of them which I'm sure contributed to building their confidence. I can only imagine how much she will be missed by her family and friends.
I am forever grateful to Dr. Rogers. I was her patient in the 1980s , a scarred and sad twenty four year old. She changed my life. She was a wonderful dermatologist and a kind and encouraging person. My sympathy to her family.
May Dr. Rogers rest in peace.

Sincere sympathies to Professor Rogers family. I had the pleasure of meeting her on several occasions even after her official retirement. She was a great advocate for teaching and research amongst her many other interests and was beloved by patients whom often enquired after her. May she rest in peace.
I was so sorry to hear about Sarah. She was an amazing friend to my Mum Dr Sheila Mac Evilly, who sadly passed away last year. They were both trail blazers in their studies at RCSI and in their long careers. Sarah was a warm, fun person who will be truly missed. RIP
Sarah, like her late son Daragh, had a great love of and interest in other people. She was never anything but kind. I will fondly remember the countless dinners I shared with her and the rest of the family in Ely Place. She had an unmistakable presence, and way about her, that was truly unique.
My deepest sympathies to Mike, Etáin, Tom, and the many people who were fortunate to know her.

I was a patient of Professor Rogers for many years in Hume Street hospital and later St Vincent’s. Prof Rogers provided the very best standard of care.
Not only did she care for her patients, but she was curios and interested in them too. I recall she was always full of character, coupled with the balanced professional that she was.
It’s a shock to hear the news of Prof Rogers passing and sincere condolences to her family and friends.

The Association of Medical and Dental Graduates of RCSI learned on the recent and untimely death of our dear friend and colleague. Sarah was President of the Association in 2008/2009 and remained an active Committee Member until her death. She was passionate about the role of the Association in forwarding the interests of the College of Surgeons and its graduates.
Our lasting memory of Sarah will be her smile, good humour, eloquence and crystal -clear mind. All of these attributes were wonderfully demonstrated when she delivered the Sir William Taylor Lecture in RCSI on 27 April 2023. This lecture- Medicine in Antiquity- built on Sarah's expert knowledge of classic civilisation. She had many qualifications in medicine but she was also thrilled to receive a Master's in Philosophy in Classics, from TCD, on 5 April 2023.
A graduate of RCSI of Class of 1968, Professor Rogers became a consultant dermatologist, specialising in the management of complex psoriasis. She had a lifelong interest in dermatology, and served on numerous committees.
.
Professor Rogers had many hobbies, not least engaging in fun conversations with her wide circle of friends and colleagues. She loved singing in the Irish Doctor's Choir, opera and choral music, and travelling the world. To her husband Mike, daughter Etain, brother Tom, and the wider family circle, we extend our deepest sympathies. May she rest in peace..
