We were so sad to hear of Chantelle's passing and can only imagine the loss it is to all of her family. We had the pleasure of meeting Chantelle when she so kindly took our family in during a storm at a recent sailing event in Dunmore East. She was the kindest host and entertained us with many stories of her wonderful life and beloved family. Thinking of you all. May her gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Chantelle Macnamara. I knew her in the practice in Ballybricken in the 1980’s and I was struck by the very important contribution she made to women’s health in Waterford at that time. She listened with empathy to her female patients at a time when women’s healthcare was in its infancy. Her radio show brought medical information to the city and she was a force to be reckoned with. Her legacy will remain in our memories for a long time to come. Condolences to Dr. Fergus and all the family.

We ,her classmates still remain shocked and saddened with her untimely death. She kept us all bonded and in touch-arranged so many re-unions and more recently in Renvyle-Connemara-She was from our time in Med school really the Class President and the glue that kept us all to-gether Chantelle was a Genuine Force of Nature and truly a generous spirit that will be missed by all of us.

Macnamaras, in this time of sorrow, I reflect on Chantelle's life of love and service to others that brought so much to so many.
