It's difficult to grasp that the man who helped me and my family through some difficult health issues has been taken so swiftly from among us. Sincere sympathy to Dr Johnny's wife Julie, his children John and Robert and the extended Power Family. We went to school together in Mount Sion and were part of a group from the Ballybricken area that "played" together. He was an avid cyclist and great memories of friendship come back. During one summer holidays from school a group of us cycled via Dungarvan to Mount Mellary and spent a week "farming" with the Monks before cycling home via Clonmel. Rest in Peace Johnny, Nil tú imithe uainn ac romhainn.

Deepest sympathy to Dr. John's wife and family on the sad loss of a wonderful man. It would be remiss of me not to write this message of gratitude at this sad time. Dr. John treated my late wife for her addiction and helped me in very difficult situations during that time. I will be forever grateful for his kindness, compassion and consideration. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I was sad last night to read of his passing but laughed when I thought of the proliferation of paper in his surgery...but he knew where everything was located and could find whatever he needed instantly. Rest in peace my friend.
