Eamonn is one of a few of this unique list of men who fought their cause as they saw it. He would have known 'Doc' John McCabe and 'The Brigadier' Brig. General McGowan, veteran of the North African WWII both are RIP and both considered honourable men in the town of Cootehill, Co. Cavan.
