Sincere sympathies to the Breatnach/Walsh clan ..you can be proud of him in his stance for Irish culture.. a gentlemanly rebel!
Mckey and Company looked after his business affairs for more than 50 years..loyal to the end...
In the earlier years he would enter the office wearing a black beret and a beige trench coat with bushy eyebrows and he would scare the hell out of me! He was always meticulous with his books and used to write a lot of notes on small pieces of paper in the tiniest print...I think he would have made a great accountant himself... always bang up to date on the latest share prices and tax changes
I grew very fond of Eamonn in his latter years... his heart and soul were in the right place. May you rest in peace...you thoroughly deserve it x

I would like to send my sincere sympathy of the passing of Eamonn to his family-He was very knowledgeable and was a character.
my Late Dad Brian Mckey was his Accountant and my sister Barbara looked after his affairs to his last days-Myself and My Aunt who is 96 now in a nursing home wrote up his books- for 15 years-a very pleasant man to deal with he definitely was in the winners enclosure.

Tá an-bhrón orm a fhoghlaim go bhfuil Éamonn imithe uainn. Bhuailinn leis ag an Aifreann gach Domhnach. Bhí creideamh láidir aige. Ceapaim go bhfuil sé suntasach go bhfuair sé bás ar Féile Mhuire Fatima! - an 13adh Bealtaine. Déarfainn gur chuir an Mhaighdean Mhuire fáilte mhór roimhe ar neamh. Mo chomhbhrón dá mhuintir.

Déanaim comhbhrón lena mhuintir uile. Ba chomharsa linn é ar Bhóthar Ghort na Sílíní. Bhí sé an-mhór le deartháir liom, Gabriel, nach maireann, agus choinníodh sé súil ar Gabriel nuair a bhí sé siúd tinn agus ina aonar. Chuir sé an-spéis i gcultúr na dtíortha Ceilteacha agus ba bhall é den Chomhdháil Cheilteach. Fear uasal caoin.

Remembering Dad’s youngest brother, a man of convictions and dutiful with his time for those now passed.
He was a big supporter of his Church and Irish Culture.
As Uncle Teddy was the last member of our parents generation it’s an opportunity for us to be thoughtful on how we are spending the rest of our days. - Brendan & Amu
