Eamonn McGreevy

I have only just learned of Eamonn’s death. Sincere condolences to all the McGreevy family from the Fox Family in Galway. Eamonn was best man at my parents wedding (Kathleen and Michael Fox) and he will not be forgotten as we will always have photos of him in our family albums. May Eamonn rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to you all, Eamonn will be missed very much. A great story teller with a great memory & the last man standing from our childhood growing up in the Park. I remember Eamonn on his tractor, bringing the catlle across from Lis into the barns in his yard & milking the cows, his mother would distribute the milk into cans of varying shapes & sizes & Kathleen and Mary Flanagan would deliver it to various households up & down the Park. Wonderful childhood memories. A stalworth of a man, may his gentle soul rest in peace with his beloved wife Chris 🙏

I have fond memories of Eamonn while growing up, he'd lean on the gate for a quick chat on the way to or from school or a tease when we were waiting for a call at the phone box. Sincere condolences to Eamonn's family and friends on his passing. I have great memories of times spent with Eamonn and Chris, when we were neighbours in the Park before moving to Galway. Himself and Tommie use to enjoy a good catch up on return trips to Carrick, which always seemed to entail 2 high stools at a counter!! May they once again enjoy a good reunion in Heaven.

Our deepest sympathy to all the McGreevy family. More than 20 years ago Laura made her first visit to Ireland and we had the pleasure of staying with Eamonn and Chris. The warmth of their hospitality, and that of Nollaig, Ronan and the whole family, has never left us. On many occasions over those years the same words have been repeated, that Eamonn was just the sweetest man she met in the whole of Ireland. May he rest in peace.
