Eddie was a dedicated member of the Resident's Assocation Committee, in Castle Abbey and was always available, when required, for work and for wise counsel. We had a very enjoyable weekly game of Pitch and Putt, right up to a few months before he passed away. Eddie worked with the same shoe company, in London, that I did - True Form - but not at the same time. We had some memorable long chats. Eddie was a true friend. May he Rest in Peace.
