It was my honour and pleasure to deal with Eddie for almost 7 years up to his retirement as a councillor in 2009 when I worked with Limerick County Council. He was a very kind and decent gentleman at all times and epitomised the true meaning of being a public representative. I was away all last week and am very sorry that I could not pay my last respects to Eddie. I will miss our morning tea and lovely chats with both of you.
