Eddie Fitzgerald (Comdt. Retired)

Condolences to Helen and all Eddie's family. Eddie was a great teammate and mentor to all of the Galway bridge players of our generation, and was always great company. When we first started playing on interprovincial teams with Eddie, he was very clear about the standard of behaviour he expected from Connacht players, and he always produced great results. I'll greatly miss both his humour and his wisdom. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.

My condolences to Eamonn, Aisling and Isabelle and the entire Fitzgerald family on the loss of Eddie. You are a shining legacy of his warmth, love of familly, and intellect. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
