My sincere condolences to Frances and all of Eddie's family on his passing.

I have such positive memories of him as he was a great mentor and leader who made us care as much as he did for our work in Social Welfare.

Our work paths crossed many times over the years starting in Washington DC in the early 90s where I was based at the Embassy all the way to his time as SG Public Service and I was based in Aras an Uachtarain.
