Edmond was chairperson of the Board of Management of St. Patrick's Boys National School for many years. During that time he was of great support to me as principal of the school. He was a very kind man of great insight. One of his favourite sayings was "God is love." He will be sorely missed. My condolences to Joan and all the family.

So sad to hear of Ed’s passing. I got the news at 2:15pm on Monday and send this message literally as his funeral is taking place. He loved the trips, we loved him, the golf and the singing. I remember him particularly singing Romeo to Juliette in Verona. You were great fun Ed! I miss you, Sean Skehan.
