I was very sorry to read today of Ed's death last week which I only found out about this morning from the Parish notices. My very deep condolences to his wife and family and all his relatives. I came to know Ed years ago when he began attending my philosophy classes at UCD where he was always highly thought of by the other students for his insightful contributions to our class discussions - a very nice person and a good man who must be greatly missed. May he rest in peace in the hands of God. I will arrange to have a Mass celebrated for his life and for all those who are grieving for him.

Nugent’s Drapery was an integral part of the fabric of Main Street when we were growing up - how times change. This time last year Edmond left us a message of sympathy on our Mother’s death - also on November 4th. May Edmond rest in peace.
