Edward (Eddie) Brady

My deepest condolences to the Brady family. Eddie was a wonderful kind gentleman.

RIP. Eddie. A True Gentleman, you will be sadly missed.

My heart missed a beat when I saw Eddie's death notice, as I felt I had lost another part of my childhood. To me , Eddie was always there; I had to call him Mr. Brady then as all children addressed their elders. I don't suppose he was that much older than me, but to me he was an adult and a man then. He eventually got me to stop calling him Mr. Brady, but he really deserved the title. He was a lovely gentle, pleasant, courteous man, and always a pleasure to meet. He was heartbroken after he lost his wife, but PG they have been re-united. Rest in peace Eddie, you were one of a kind, and Cavan will miss you. Sincere sympathy to all his relatives and friends.

A man who signified all of which is good about the gaa..it was a privilege to be in Eddie's company on our visits to the mater hospital ..a true gaa man..
