RIP Eddie. I still can’t quite get my head around that you have passed away. May there always be enough fish to catch, wherever you are!

We're so sad to hear Eddie has died.
We were customers of his. He was an excellent craftsman.
But more importantly he was so friendly obliging and gave you lots of time.
He will always be with you. You have a diamond there.

Very sad to hear the the news of Eddie passing. An absolute gent of a man, always had lovely things to say about my grandparents who lived close by in Mount Nebo Avenue. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Eddie's passing. I had no idea he was so ill.
Eddie and I had often crossed paths at extended family get-togethers, weddings and funerals mainly, and we'd joke about him beating me to being the eldest McGarry grandchild. He always entertained me with stories of the old days when his dad and mum were still alive, and his time with his dad was clearly spent wisely, serving his time as a master craftsman of fish and furniture!
In recent years Eddie had been exceptionally kind and supportive to me when my mum, his Auntie Kathleen, passed away, and my heart nearly broke for him not long afterwards when he lost his own beautiful Mark.
Sending sincere condolences to Catherine, Diane, Frances, Denis and Richard and to all of the extended McGarry family who have been blessed to spend time with this gentle giant.
Rest in peace Cuz, family get-togethers will never be the same again, but I know I'll see you someday for our final hurrah!
