Richie always said that his brother, Neddie, loved the farm, worked and worried over it. Ned would never be happy living anywhere but in his home village. Thank God that he was able to live out his days there. When we visited Neddie, he loved to talk and talk about the goings on in the family, the farm, the animals, and his neighbors. He was a born story teller and enjoyed sharing his life. RIP uncle Neddie,

Neddy you were a much loved Uncle and grand uncle. Lots of happy memories of childhoods spent in Kilkenny on the farm. You were a great son minding your mum through difficult years with dementia. The funny stories you told will live on after you. Much loved by Bridget your sister and brother Richie and nieces and nephews. What great neighbor s and friends you had. Rest in peace in heaven hope they have cattle and horses their too for you to mind.

Our sincere sympathy to the Byrne family on the death of Neddy.He was one of the nicest people one could meet.We always called to see him on our trips to Ireland.I was always given a glass of whiskey and loved to hear him talking about his cattle and horses.He will now be telling Our Lord and St Peter about his “pets”.It was lovely to hear him when we phoned from England and always that welcome tone of his voice..Alas it’s no more and he will now be resting in his heavenly home .
