Sincere sympathy to Seamus , Ferga and all the McManus families on the sad passing of your beloved Mom also to all the Dineen families..I have many happy memories of yer trips to Hollymount to visit yer grandparents many years ago. May Eibhlis rest in peace. Kathleen Boherbue and Hollymount.

Condolences to Ross and all the mc Manus and extended families. Your mum is remembered with fondness and as the trip organizer to our exotic European trips in the 70's. She certainly created that travel bug in us. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

My deepest sympathies to all the family on the passing of your wonderful mum Eibhlís. She was a wonderful friend to our mum and dad (Patsy and Tom Murphy) and a visit to your house in Airglooney was always a huge treat for us as children as she spoiled us with treats. She took me on my first school tour abroad in 1973 to France and Belgium and gave us a wonderful time. Nothing was ever too much for her. A wonderful lady who will be sorely missed by all, may she rest in peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of Eibhlis’ passing . She would come to get her hair styled with mam( Mary loftus) and myself in later years. She was great fun, always interested in the children, bringing jams , we had great chats in the car and I was very fond of her . May she rest in peace.

Mrs McManus ( as we all referred to her) was a wonderful woman who gave others & I many a lift to/from Gardenfield NS in the 60’s. She never left anyone behind and was kind and caring towards us all. My deepest sympathy to the extended McManus family on Eilish’s passing. May She Rest In Peace.

To all the McManus and Dineen families,
Today you said goodbye to a great lady, who as Seamus said, deserves her rest now. I remember her fondly as a lively and dramatic biology teacher (who brought road-kill in to school to dissect with us so we would understand their anatomy!)
In later years I remember her as a great friend to my mother, particularly after Daddy died. She would phone her and arrange a trip for them both to Knock, sandwiches and dog in tow. Her lilting tones and her laughter were a tonic, and her kind heart a balm for Mam in those early days of loss. May they both be with the angels as they so righteously deserve.
