Sorry to hear of Eileen’s death and condolences to her family. Since Eileen left no 83, my mum, Marie enjoyed bumping into her locally and catching up on happy stories of travel and outings.

Condolences to Aedine, Olivia, Orlaith , Kieran and families. Eileen was a colourful character with so much spirit, meeting her was always engaging. I will never forget being taught how to make white sauce in the kitchen of #83 before going to girl guides for a badge test ! I passed , thanks to Eileen, may she rest gently

Today it was a privilege to join with each member of Eileen’s family and all the friends who honoured her wonderful long life and exceptional qualities.

It was always special to meet Eileen who presided over her family, home and extensive circle of friends with warmth, intelligence, spirit and sincerity. She epitomised the qualities and values that are most needed in all our lives and her example will live on. Though she will be hugely missed by each member of her loving family, her spirit, humour and decency continue in the very special persons of each of her daughters, son, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren and much loved great grand daughter.
I have no doubt that Eileen is now at peace with those she loved and missed dearly with her. RIP.

Dear Aedine, Olivia, Orlaith, Kieran, Grandchildren and extended family and friends, please except my Sincere Condolences on the passing of your wonderful and gorgeous Mother, Eileen. I have great memories of myself, Orlaith and Deirdre having great Craic and laughter with your Mum, Eileen throughout the five years of being in Rockford Manor Secondary School relaying all the hilarious stories of all our teachers and sometimes after eating our lunch out of our lunchbox or taking off the tin foil the three ! ! students would decide to stay on in the O’Connor house and study ish with Eileen keeping a watchful eye on us and laughing at the same time. She was a gorgeous lady with always a smile and I was soooo happy to see her before Christmas with Orlaith coming out of her hair dressers and going home then to get more glammed up for her ladies dinner in her Golf Club. Mrs O’Connor you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. May You Rest in Peace❤️

So sorry to hear about Eileen. My mind is flooded with memories of her and my own mother enjoying a glass of elderberry wine or two in the kitchen at monkstown, the pair of them off for a skite in town or when Eileen taught Kitty how to make meringues. My sympathies to all the family on your loss.
