We were deeply saddened to hear of Elaine's passing. Such a beautiful, caring, brave and fun loving lady. During my surgery in beaumont, she spent all day with my parents and dale. So kind. I will miss our messages.. Heartfelt condolences to you Ken, (her Co pilot), to Ella, Rose, Marie and ger.

Dear Ken & Ella, I was deeply saddened to hear of Elaine's death this week. I'm sure for you, for her mother, Rose, and for all who loved her these days are painful like no other but we believe that Elaine is now pain-free and that she will rest in peace with God. Hopefully that will be some comfort to you all. I couldn't attend Elaine's funeral as I was overseas but my thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are thinking of you today Ken, Ella, Rose, Marie and Ger, as you try to make sense of these tragic few months. Dave spoke with such love of Elaine over the years. We will always remember and carry with us the generosity and kindness she showed Nellie a few weeks ago in the Phoenix Park, even in the midst of her own trying situation. We share in the pain with you, we cannot make any sense of it, but we take comfort in the promise that wherever Dave and Elaine are now, at least they are there together. Take care and see you soon. Elaine was always such a gentle, funny, and warm person. She was a wonderful friend to my dad during his own illness and I remember how he enjoyed her visits and the chats. She was so generous with her time and friendship through the years and we were so luckily to know her as a neighbour and a friend.
