I'm very sad to read of Ann's passing tonight only as I was trying to find a way to make contact with her! Devine timing?!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ann in Sam McCauley's and have wonderful, colourful memories of shared stories of her often mentioned, much loved husband, the farm, their many trips to see their daughter, her understated pride in each of her children and their achievements and her absolute adoration of her grandchildren and keenest interest in their education.

Ann's love of reading and interest in all things biblical, political, Royal families, etc., her energy and enthusiasm to keep up-to-date with the parish/community, all her former colleagues/schools and friends was truly remarkable and kept her sharp as a lance!
I admired Ann and really enjoyed our time together. She was a very insightful woman and very, very witty and she often left me curious over some little story or other but always smiling.

You'll cherish the lifetime of memories you have of Ann and they will give you great comfort I trust.

Rest in peace Ann.
