Sincere sympathy to Betty’s family on her death. My late mother Maire White Cluskey was a great friend of Betty’s from long ago days when they both trained as teachers in the same college in Dublin. Friendship continued when Betty married Mum’s cousin ,Joe Toal and Mum loved visiting their home with her Cooley relatives.Rest in peace,Betty .

So very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing.
Betty and Joe were always so kind to us whenever we cycled over Joe Toal’s Road selling Boher school raffle tickets in the 80s.
When I trained as a primary school teacher Betty willingly helped me with a college project!
Luckily for me that included afternoon tea.

Deepest condolences to all the family , I used to call to Betty and Joe weekly for a few years before I became sick myself . Such wonderful stories they told me about how life was so many years ago for them , School , and how they celebrated Christmas and loads more such beautiful memories of their life they shared with me . They both had so much knowledge and wisdom and loved sharing it .
