Having known Liz from her time in DIT, I know she brightened up the world around her. I can only send my love and sincerest, heart felt sympathies to you all, family and friends, at this difficult time, Karen.

Liz there are no words, I’m in total shock. This time 10 years ago, you, Derbhala, Devina, Mark, Eoghan and I were travelling down the east coast of Australia and having the absolute time of our lives.

I was going to arrange our next catch up for all of us when I’m back in Ireland in October this year. I can’t believe I won’t get to see you and your lovely smiling happy face again. I just hope you know how much you were loved by everyone and I hope your family know that and it brings them some comfort in this extremely difficult time. I will honestly never forget you and the world is now just a sadder place without you in it.

I am so very sorry to hear such sad news about Liz. I met her when she first came to work in UCC. Great personality. Good fun and just a beautiful girl. An unimaginable loss to her family, friends, boyfriend and workmates. Rest in peace Liz x
