I worked in Dublin Castle in the eighties and I would go for coffee and sometimes lunch to the Penny Farthing in Exchequer Street, I have lovely memories of your Mum when she would serve me, she was so proud of you Paul and your achievements, a very quiet unassuming lady. May she rest in peace.

sincere sympathy to you paul I knew ur mother in the eighties when she worked in the penny farthing in exchequer st I had many a breackfast there on my break from work in the central telephone exchange. She was a lady .May she rest in peace.

I never knew this lovely lady, but I felt like I did, from the many things her loving neice Jacky told me about Betty over the years. What an amazing lady and what a precious bond they had and how blessed they were to share their lives, right up until Betty drew her last breath. Lost my mam almost 30yrs ago and I miss her n think of her in a very special way..

So sad to hear about your mams passing my husband and myself spent our mornings going to work and stopping for breakfast in penny farthing and your mam served us daily and we had a good laugh with her we had fun slagging each other as we were from crumlin and either way she liked us and always made sure we got plenary of tea and toast, a true dub which lived you all and your fans. Stay strong at this difficult time but you have an inner strength that’s unbelievable and Betty will still shine on you xx

Thinking of Paul and family at this very sad time, Betty was a Treasure of a lady with always a smile and lovely words to say for all. I have such fond memories as a kid,She will be greatly missed on Keeper road. Xx

Very sorry for your Loss.I only met your Mum on one occasion. I was delivering a package from Baby care. Crowley was meant to do it, but somehow he asked me to deliver. She thought I was him ,but I told her No he is a bigger chap. She came across as a very warm and lovely person. My condolences to you at this difficult time .

So sorry for your loss Paul and all the family Betty was a lovely woman I worked with Betty in the Penny farthing coffee shop in exchequer street she always made mince pies for the shop at Christmas time She was a great baker I also knew Noel he use to come in for his tea break She always spoke fondly of you and your sister thinking of you all at this very sad time

Sincerest sympathy on the death of your mum. I did not know her or I don't know you but she reared some nice man in you Paul. She seems to have been a very strong lady because 60 years ago it was not easy when a baby was born out of wedlock. I hope you had a great and loving relationship in those 60 years.
