I worked in Dublin Castle in the eighties and I would go for coffee and sometimes lunch to the Penny Farthing in Exchequer Street, I have lovely memories of your Mum when she would serve me, she was so proud of you Paul and your achievements, a very quiet unassuming lady. So sad to hear about your mams passing my husband and myself spent our mornings going to work and stopping for breakfast in penny farthing and your mam served us daily and we had a good laugh with her we had fun slagging each other as we were from crumlin and either way she liked us and always made sure we got plenary of tea and toast, a true dub which lived you all and your fans. Stay strong at this difficult time but you have an inner strength that’s unbelievable and Betty will still shine on you xx

Very sorry for your Loss.I only met your Mum on one occasion. I was delivering a package from Baby care. Crowley was meant to do it, but somehow he asked me to deliver. She thought I was him ,but I told her No he is a bigger chap. She came across as a very warm and lovely person. My condolences to you at this difficult time .
