Dear Tommy, Kieran and family, sincere sympathies on the death of Eily, such a lovely woman. In happier times she often stayed here in Deansgrange with her great friend, my late mum, Annie O'Dwyer (nee Armstrong). Before that Eily had often visited and stayed with my late aunt Brigid (Miley) in Ranelagh and she worked for years in a shop in Tullaroan owned by my mum's cousin Cecilia Molloy. I enjoyed many good chats with Eily. She was very proud of her family and often told me about her trips to Australia. She was also a great supporter of the Kilkenny cats, of course. Eily was always great company and we loved her visits. Unfortunately, following my mother's death in 2005, we fell out of touch. I'm very sorry indeed to hear that she has passed on. What a wonderful woman, full of life and fun. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, whom she lost far too early. Condolences to you once again at this very difficult time. Eily, R.I.P.
