Enda was part of our Social GAA crew in Clontarf. Though hugely more talented than myself, he never allowed me (and others) slip into mediocrity. When you played against him you needed to be at the best of your ability; when you played with him you needed to be even better! He stood out as someone who pushed people to be improved versions of themselves - and yet in doing so he was still a likeable guy. I am so sorry for his wife and kids, and parents and siblings, and all his close friends including the band of brothers he played with in Garrycastle.
