Baineadh geit millteach asam nuair a chonac an píosa ar an bpáipéar ar an 25ú Meàn Fomhair mar bhí an páipéar seachtain d'aois.Scéal obann ,scéal ana-bhrónach dom féin is dom' chairde taréis na hoíche fíor-thaithneamhach sa Shipwright.Fíor-Ghael,agus fear ar leith, suim aige ins gach aon rud agus ins gach aon duine...Gaelainn i gcónaí,uasal,ana-fhlaithiúil,cineálta,croí mór.D'easaontaigh Eoghan le caimiléireacht...aithníonn ciaróg...!Guím faoiseamh d'á fhoireann oibre,dá mhuintir is dá cháirde.Leaba imeasc na naomh go raibh aige agus déanfaimíd a bheatha a chomóradh.Le mór-bhrón,Máire Úna Ní Bheaglaoich;7D Aonach Mhargadh na Feirme,BÁC 7

There are few adjectives that adequately describe Eoghan. He was one of the finest and we are extremely fortunate to have had him in our life. Selfless, genius, open-minded, kind, and motivating, he was one of the best.

He has been a tremendous friend and mentor to me for the last 11 years, and without him, I would not have been given the opportunity to complete my Masters. I will miss our "quality times," as he used to refer to them, our journeys around Ireland; he was present at every significant occasion of my life as my best man; he is and will always be a member of my family. We shall always have great memories of him.

Thank you, Eoghan, for your trust and for everything you have done and continues doing for me. You are now my guardian angel.
— Fabio, Ania and family

Shocked, saddened and upset to learn of Eoghan's passing.
It's said that each language is a window on a different aspect of the world . Eoghan then had many such windows which were open wide and showed an open and generous personality. It seemed he was always prepared to be a good friend to , and take an interest in, everyone he met.
Was fortunate to have known him in schooldays, Telecom days and many nights at traditional music events.
