I am so sad to read of the death of your mother Esther in today's Irish Times 30th May, 2020. She will always be Mrs Jennings to me - a very kind neighbour on Carleton Road, who had a great love and zest for life. She always had a good word to say about everybody and she gave encouragement to the many children on Carleton Road. She always, I thought, hand a keen eye for the underdog and by a giving you one of her nice smiles, it would always raise your spirits. May she rest in peace. She was indeed a lovely lady
