I was very sorry to hear of Eugene's passing. He was very kind and friendly to me when I joined Mt Pleasant back in the mid-90's, and was always up for a tough game! My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Eugene’s death. I have good memories of Eugene both as my ‘landlord’ when I lived on Merrion Road and subsequently when he hiked and cycled with my husband. A fun and kind man. Rest in peace Eugene

It is with deep sadness that I learned of the death of Eugene. We shared a love of running and squash and we participated together over many years. My sincere sympathy and condolences to his family.

Eugene and I travelled the country together to squash tournaments and on cycling trips in the good old days. He was a tough competitor at all times. Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his first family.

Very sorry to hear of the sudden death of Eugene and sincere sympathies to his family. Eugene was always warm, friendly, helpful .He had a lovely sense of fun which shone through especially in recent years when he was dealing with his difficult illness with great dignity and strength. I remember Eugene at the height of his pomp. Lovely guy, always worth chatting to at Mount Pleasant. This is sad news indeed.
