To Eileen and Tracy I wish you both my deepest sympathy. Eoin was a gentleman, an able engineer and a great golfer. I am honoured to have worked with him for many years. I can remember Eoin bringing Tracy into the drawing office to do drawing and colouring as if it were yesterday. He was a great mentor to me and many more.He gave great service to CCC and the people of Cork. His legacy is our current road network in Cork. I will always remember his story of being 'rescued' when he was swimming across the Lee to the old Athlethic Grounds. May he rest in peace.
