We were so saddened to learn of Eva’s untimely passing. May she Rest in Peace. I met you at the McCarthy clan gathering in Portlaoise a number of years ago. I am a cousin of Eva’s and she was so helpful in doing the family research over the years. Our deepest sympathy to you and all the family.

Dear PJ, we are very sad to learn that Eva has passed away. As you know we only met once in person in Portlaoise but we corresponded regularly with information on the McCarthy family. Eva was a great source of information and we learned so much from her. She was an amazing researcher. We always thought that we would meet again for a quiet chat when all of our lives settled back to normal but sadly that wasn't to be. I will miss her in my life. We can only imagine how you and her family and friends must be feeling and we are sending you all our heartfelt condolences. May dear Eva rest in peace with her much loved parents and her brother.
