My very deepest condolence to Fionn's sister and family on the death of Fionn. He was such a joy to listen to every Saturday. And Sundays in my home ,His beautiful speaking voice and visceral love of music was such a welcome into our home back in those halcyon days, when l was not there l would have the program recorded and l still have those tapes, Fionn was special, and l often wondered why he never joined the Lyric team, he was and is so missed. (Ruhe, Zanft, Mozart).

Sincere condolences to all Fionn's relatives. Fionn was a kind and friendly neighbour in Goatstown. We were to shocked to learn of his passing. We had many conversations over the years in Goatstown with Fionn and with Marie. Gentle and warm people, and of course we were great fans of Fionn's radio programmes. So sorry we only learned the news this afternoon. We will remember them both in our prayers.

I was sad to hear that my dear friend Fionn O'Leary has died. It's hard to believe that his splendid unique speaking radio voice is now silent. His programme "Sounds Classical" filled the airwaves with his enthusiasm and deep love of music. It had huge following.
