I am sorry to hear of Fr Albert's passing. I know how much the family will miss him. My deepest condolences to Margaret on the loss of your brother, and to Seamus. And to Thomas, Christopher, Elizabeth, Cathy and Albert on the loss of your uncle. May he Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to Margaret and all your family on the death Fr. Albert, a fantastic priest and friend to whom I was fortunate to have known as a parishioner at both Elizabeth Ann Seaton and Our Lady of Guadalupe. He is the #1 priest in my 76 years as a Catholic and was instrumental in my returning to the Catholic Church. He said each Mass with the utmost grace and dignity and his homilies which were inspiring and far reaching. I also have many good times and fond memories with his quick and mischievous wit. I am confident that he has found Peace and Rest in Eternal Life. May God and Father Albert watch over you and give your family strength and peace during this difficult transition.

I’m so sorry to learn of Fr. Kelly’s passing. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers. I first met Father in the 1970s at Little Flower in Mobile. He was a wonderful priest; we were very fortunate to have known him.

When he was first assigned to Little Flower Parish in Mobile, he would ride with me in the Police car when i was on duty. He was truly our family priest. We had lots of good times. You were the only priest I knew for the first 30 years of my life. You baptized me, my first confession, my first Holy communion, saw to my confirmation, went on so many Life Teen adventures with me, overseen my marriage, and baptized our oldest son. You reside in a deep place in my heart, and I am forever grateful for the confession of 2016 that brought me back into the Church when I went wayward for 7 years. If it were not for your honest words, I would have never changed. I will never forget that day, and in many respects, you are the reason I might make it to heaven one day - God Willing. I love you.

My sympathy and prayers to Margaret on the death of her brother Fr. Albert Kelly. I had occasion to meet Albert a few times in Alabama when I would visit the Archdiocese of Mobile. I was also familiar with area where he ministered since I worked in an institution in the Montgomery area for many years. Albert, as a high energy person, did great work for God. May he rest in peace.
